Responsibilities
- Build and maintain components for LSEG’s Elektron Real Time Data Distribution System.
- Develop reliable and robust full-stack solutions using Java and modern frontend and backend frameworks.
- Collaborate with product owners, team leads, architects, and global engineering teams to address customer needs.
- Participate in Scrum meetings and provide timely updates on assigned work.
- Develop knowledge of technologies and tools through on-the-job learning, certifications, and projects.
- Maintain the team knowledge base and document technical issue resolutions.
- Contribute to cloud development and migration initiatives.
- Focus consistently on software quality and security.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of strong Java experience for cross-platform development, particularly on Linux.
- Strong experience with the Spring framework.
- Strong experience developing APIs using Spring Boot, JPA, JWT, OAuth2, and Dojo.
- Strong experience with Angular, Node.js, and React.
- Development and migration experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of Git concepts, development and release pipelines, branching strategies, release strategies, and CI/CD.
- Excellent verbal communication and written documentation skills.
- Ability to adapt to evolving technical requirements and events.
- Degree-level qualification in Computing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Preferred experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization and orchestration.
- Preferred knowledge of building automation.
