Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, maintain, refactor, and implement solutions using .NET, MVC, Angular, MS Access, and SQL Server.
- Analyze user requirements and design technical solutions for business problems.
- Document requirements, system designs, specifications, and user guides according to department standards.
- Prepare test plans and test cases and coordinate user acceptance testing with users.
- Provide technical support for system-related problems and queries.
- Participate across the full systems development lifecycle and contribute to selected project management activities.
- Apply development standards, conduct reviews, and lead reviews of colleagues’ work.
- Use GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools for code generation, refactoring, unit-test generation, documentation, code reviews, explanations, and knowledge transfer.
- Establish governance and best practices for AI-assisted software development in regulated banking environments and track productivity improvements from AI adoption.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience across all parts of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with .NET development, including C#, VB.NET, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Web API.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, Entity Framework, LINQ, and NHibernate.
- Experience with multithreading and asynchronous programming using .NET threading and async/await.
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and MS Access.
- Experience with test-driven development, continuous build, and integration.
- Experience following Waterfall and Agile development practices, particularly XP and Scrum.
- Experience working in financial institutions or banks, including corporate and investment banking processes and systems across multiple regions.
- Experience with asset management and monitoring of assets.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot and AI-powered coding assistants, including measuring productivity improvements and establishing governance in regulated environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps is desirable.
