Responsibilities
- Own development, testing, and deployment tasks at the application or software-component level.
- Troubleshoot and refactor existing code.
- Adopt new languages and architecture patterns as needed.
- Influence team decisions and actively develop technical knowledge.
- Participate with peers in requirements elaboration, prioritization, and effort estimation.
- Support continuous integration, delivery automation, pipelines, and virtualization.
- Assist peers and team members while following Mastercard security policies and reporting suspected security violations.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field.
- Hands-on knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and SQL queries.
- Understanding of basic design patterns and requirements analysis.
- Understanding of continuous integration and delivery concepts and capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and using TDD and BDD in software development processes.
- Willingness to seek feedback and improve areas of weakness.
