Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java microservices, REST APIs, and platform integrations for entitlement and subscription management.
- Participate throughout the development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, support, and continuous improvement.
- Build maintainable, well-tested code and participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and engineering discussions.
- Support automated delivery pipelines and cloud operations using modern DevOps practices and tools.
- Investigate and resolve production issues involving application logic, integrations, databases, messaging systems, and service performance.
- Collaborate with global engineers, architects, and product experts while sharing knowledge and adopting new engineering practices responsibly.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience developing Java applications with Spring Boot and RESTful services in a collaborative software engineering environment.
- Working knowledge of cloud-native application development, microservices, SaaS concepts, multi-tenancy, and modern deployment practices.
- Experience with relational databases, SQL, JDBC, and performance-conscious data access patterns.
- Knowledge of automated testing, source control, CI/CD concepts, and modern software delivery practices.
- Strong analytical, debugging, root-cause analysis, and issue-resolution skills.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills for working across global teams and functions.
- Curiosity, adaptability, a growth mindset, and interest in learning new technologies and engineering practices.
