Responsibilities
- Provision, monitor, and operate cloud services in a globally distributed team.
- Analyze and resolve operational issues, respond to incidents, and provide on-call support for performance degradations.
- Perform systems administration, database administration, landscape maintenance, patching, upgrades, refreshes, and periodic maintenance.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement continuous service improvements.
- Partner with product development teams to design and enhance services.
- Develop and implement testing strategies and document results.
- Build basic automation for testing, deployment, scalability, management, and service visibility.
- Maintain the integrity and security of servers and systems and support policies and standards for computing-resource allocation.
- Collaborate and cross-train with global team members while supporting client relationships across the service delivery lifecycle.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Expertise with CI/CD frameworks such as Jenkins, Concourse, and Landscape.
- Good knowledge of Cloud Foundry and BTP landscape architecture.
- Very good knowledge of infrastructure as code using Ansible and Terraform.
- Strong knowledge of GitOps and GitActions.
- Basic knowledge of cloud-native programming, hyperscalers, and automation using Python or JavaScript.
- Expertise building, implementing, or supporting monitoring tools.
- Expert knowledge of cloud computing, databases, web services, networking, virtualization, and internet protocols.
- Experience with AWS Route 53, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, RDS, IAM, ACM, KMS, and VPC.
- Expertise with security fundamentals for SaaS multitenant application systems.
- Strong communication, prioritization, interpersonal, presentation, customer service, and multitasking skills.
- Must be an Indian citizen and willing to undergo a security clearance process.
- Willingness to work five days from the office in a 24/7 environment with on-call duties.
