Responsibilities
- Develop modern software solutions and web applications for the digitalization of justice and public administration.
- Support the full software lifecycle from conception and development through testing, deployment, and operations.
- Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and technical quality standards.
- Continuously enhance existing applications and identify optimization opportunities.
- Work with Product Owners, business departments, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Support the introduction of modern technologies and best practices within development projects.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional experience as a Java Software Developer or in a comparable position.
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- Very strong knowledge of Java-based backend technologies including Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, and REST.
- Good knowledge of modern web technologies, single-page applications, and web services.
- Solid experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud.
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of IT security topics including certificates, encryption, PKI, or electronic signatures.
- Public-sector experience is advantageous.
- Structured, quality-focused, and analytical working style.
- Good written and spoken German and English skills.
