Base Salary
$190k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance control plane systems for customer identity and lifecycle management.
- Improve reliability, scalability, and observability of control plane services.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to provide safe infrastructure primitives.
- Operate critical infrastructure through incident response and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency with Python; experience with Rust is a plus.
- Experience designing and operating distributed systems at scale.
- Strong understanding of replication, consistency models, and service coordination.
- Experience building infrastructure services or platform APIs for multiple teams.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience operating containerized systems such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Proven track record of operating production systems with strong ownership.
- Strong written communication skills for documenting platform systems.
