Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain a unified Go-based instrumentation service.
- Manage the handling of instrumentation data to ensure data integrity.
- Train and assist product development teams on using the unified service.
- Manage on-call duties for systems related to usage billing and instrumentation.
- Collaborate with research and development teams to identify requirements.
- Make key architectural decisions balancing product team needs with data reliability.
Requirements
- Proficiency in the Go programming language with experience in production services.
- Strong backend development experience in designing scalable systems.
- Experience with system reliability, performance, data quality, and observability.
- Experience designing and building APIs for integration with other teams.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams across various stakeholders.
- Experience with instrumentation, analytics, or data systems in application environments.
