Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Guide engineering teams in developing transparent data collection and usage practices that protect user privacy and mitigate risk.
- Conduct technical and policy reviews to identify and escalate privacy concerns.
- Lead and manage proactive development of privacy features and tools.
- Contribute to product strategy, business strategy, public policy, and legal initiatives addressing privacy risks.
- Respond to privacy incidents by determining scope and root cause and managing remediation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing solutions that maintain or enhance organizational privacy posture through engineering design assessment and stakeholder influence.
- At least 2 years of experience applying privacy technologies and customizing existing solutions and frameworks.
- Experience balancing risks in ambiguous, complex situations involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience managing multiple high-priority requests and allocating resources in a fast-paced organization.
- Experience maintaining and reviewing code in one or more general-purpose programming languages.
- Experience with technical privacy issues such as cookie management and encryption and with the software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR and CCPA and the Ads or online commerce domain.
Benefits
- US base pay is $147000-$210000, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
