Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical subject matter expert for client-facing sales and customer teams across new business, renewals, expansions, and ongoing client work.
- Scope expansion opportunities, custom configurations, and technical projects for existing enterprise clients.
- Guide client web and development teams through JavaScript embeds, tags, pixels, and API integrations, and troubleshoot implementation issues.
- Lead requirements gathering, discovery, data-transfer discussions, and solution design aligned with client needs and Wayvia capabilities.
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations and technical architecture overviews and support RFI, RFP, and technical vendor evaluations.
- Relay client feedback to Product, coordinate handoffs to Implementation and Support, and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of customer-facing technical experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, solutions consulting, technical account management, or implementation, preferably in SaaS.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, CDNs, and APIs, including debugging front-end code with browser developer tools.
- Experience supporting enterprise clients before and after the sale, including expansions and technical projects within existing accounts.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and communicate effectively in writing, presentations, and conversations.
- Ability to prioritize competing requests across Sales and Customer Success and work proactively with minimal supervision.
- Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Preferred experience with Google Tag Manager, tracking pixels, website analytics, digital marketing technologies, SEO, Looker, Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, relational databases, SQL, digital shelf management, digital merchandising, content syndication, retail media, eCommerce, retail technology, or commerce intelligence.
