Responsibilities
- Drive a quality-first engineering culture through Shift-Left and continuous testing practices.
- Design and develop scalable test automation frameworks for web, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
- Champion test automation, TDD, BDD, and CI/CD practices across engineering teams.
- Use AI-powered tools and GenAI to improve test design, automation, defect detection, and developer productivity.
- Lead performance, reliability, security, and non-functional testing initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor and coach teams on modern Quality Engineering practices and automation excellence.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and innovative testing solutions.
Requirements
- Requires 8-12 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or Software Engineering roles.
- Hands-on expertise with Java, Playwright, Selenium, RestAssured, Cucumber, API testing, and microservices testing.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile delivery practices.
- Experience building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Azure, along with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong experience in database, integration, and performance testing.
- Ability to mentor teams and influence quality engineering best practices.
- Experience with AI-assisted development and testing tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms.
- Ability to generate and optimize automated test cases, use GenAI for coding and debugging, validate AI-generated outputs, and apply prompt engineering techniques.
- Bonus qualifications include AI-driven testing, testing AI/ML and Generative AI applications, telecom OSS/BSS experience, performance tools, Contract Testing, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code, and Quality Engineering transformation initiatives.
