Base Salary
$192k - $267k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify business opportunities, understand customer technical objections, and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers.
- Provide storage and database expertise through technology advocacy, bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and customer engagement.
- Work directly with Google Cloud products to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer and partner environments.
- Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure for complete Google Cloud solutions.
- Partner with product management and engineering to prioritize solutions that improve customer adoption.
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and related events as required and represent Google Cloud publicly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with cloud-native architecture, including database administration and solutions, in a customer-facing or support role.
- Experience architecting solutions for data transformation, migration, governance, high availability, or disaster recovery.
- Experience engaging with and presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Experience with large-scale data migration and moving production systems between on-premises/data center environments and the cloud.
- SQL skills with deep query troubleshooting knowledge.
- Experience optimizing database performance for transactional or analytic workloads.
- Experience with disaster recovery and data backup strategies.
- Ability to understand complex customer software workloads and define technical migration roadmaps aligned with customer needs.

- US base pay is listed as $192,000–$267,000, plus a 42.86% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
