Responsibilities
- Design and develop integration solutions that enable communication between systems and applications.
- Analyze business requirements and align integration services, workflows, and architectures with enterprise strategies and governance standards.
- Develop MuleSoft APIs and integration layers using Mule 4, RAML, DataWeave, connectors, components, transformers, filters, flow control, message routing, and error handling.
- Test and validate integration solutions using testing tools, troubleshoot issues, and resolve implementation problems.
- Document integration designs, development, testing, and implementation activities.
- Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, project managers, and support teams.
- Participate in the software development life cycle for assigned integrations and provide estimates when required.
- Integrate MuleSoft applications with OpsGenie for alerts and monitoring.
- Mentor and train junior engineers on integration technologies, best practices, and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Six years of progressive post-bachelor’s experience in application coding and creating computer applications or databases.
- Six years of progressive post-bachelor’s experience with software development life cycle and implementation methodologies.
- Six years of progressive post-bachelor’s experience designing and implementing MuleSoft APIs with the MuleSoft Anypoint API Platform and RAML.
- Six years of progressive post-bachelor’s experience with databases, SQL, database schema design, and SQL queries.
- Six years of progressive post-bachelor’s experience deploying and managing cloud-based integration solutions.
- Experience with Anypoint Studio, Runtime Manager, API Management, and CloudHub.
- Experience with XML, XSL, XSD, XSLT, XQuery, XPath, and DTD technologies.
- Experience with JavaScript, JSON, SoapUI, and Postman.
- Experience with MuleSoft V4, Mule 4 connectors, components, transformers, filters, flow control, message routing, ActiveMQ, JMS, and error handling.
- Working knowledge of SQL, databases, AWS microservices architecture, and ServiceNow.
- Experience with API security certification, authentication, OAuth 2.0, OpenID, JSON Web Token authorization, IP security setup, and endpoint configuration.
- Experience using RAML, DataWeave, API Designer, and MuleSoft connectors to build integration layers.
- Knowledge of EFT technologies such as Globalscape and/or Arcus.
