Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend payment systems using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and enterprise application technologies.
- Develop and maintain payment service integrations, APIs, and enterprise applications supporting Money platforms.
- Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, coding standards, architecture decisions, and technology roadmaps.
- Mentor and guide developers and provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Analyze and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and system stability challenges.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability for high-volume transaction processing.
- Collaborate with business teams, architects, QA, DevOps, operations, and client stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
- Support testing, deployments, production releases, secure coding practices, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10–14 years of hands-on Java/J2EE application development experience, including at least 3 years in a Technical Lead role.
- Strong expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, APIs, microservices, and SQL.
- Experience designing and developing enterprise-scale applications and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture principles, and secure coding practices.
- Experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platform experience is advantageous.
- Digital payments, mobile wallets, FinTech, banking, or telecom financial services experience is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, mentoring, and technical discussion leadership skills.
