Responsibilities
- Design and lead enterprise architecture for large-scale projects.
- Define solution and integration architectures for integrating products with surrounding systems.
- Architect and develop optimized microservices and REST APIs for real-time business operations.
- Lead migrations from monolithic applications to microservices.
- Implement load balancing, failover mechanisms, caching, and message-driven design patterns.
- Ensure enterprise security and compliance through logging, auditing, and API monitoring frameworks.
- Use AI tools for automation, modeling, analysis, and code generation.
- Manage customer expectations and align proposed solutions with business goals.
- Mentor developers and technical leads transitioning into architecture roles.
- Lead and manage a team of 10+ members delivering technology-specific solutions and building solution assets.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise and solution architecture for large projects.
- Strong expertise in integration patterns, microservices architecture, and cloud-native deployments.
- Knowledge of at least one major language ecosystem: Java, Python, .NET, or JavaScript.
- Expertise in microservices, event-driven, API-first, containerization, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP multi-cloud environments, serverless programming, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Proficiency in DevOps, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and application modernization.
- Knowledge of JMS, ActiveMQ, or IBM MQ message-oriented middleware.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Cloud certifications, TOGAF 9 certification, OAuth and SAML/SSO expertise, performance engineering knowledge, banking transformation experience, and Dutch language skills are preferred.
