Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI agents, automation tools, orchestration layers, and reusable AI solutions.
- Choose between low-code and pro-code approaches and design cloud-native platforms for AI solutions.
- Provide technical oversight, quality assurance, code reviews, engineering standards, and constructive feedback.
- Shape and scope new demand by translating business problems into technical deliverables, effort estimates, and feasibility assessments.
- Own end-to-end governance and setup, including AI risk assessment, information security, data loss prevention, environments, licensing, and live release.
- Manage senior stakeholders, demonstrate and defend technical work, and shape solutions with partners and business leadership.
- Support and mentor junior team members and coordinate delivery across onshore and offshore resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert business requirements into technical specifications.
- Document code, processes, and methodologies and stay current with AI developments.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent experience gained through several years in a relevant role.
- Proven experience as an AI developer or engineer with a strong portfolio of delivered projects.
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript, with working knowledge of Git and version control.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
- Experience with Pandas, NumPy, SQL, and the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse.
- Experience building and orchestrating LLM agents, including prompt design, grounding and retrieval, structured outputs, and testing and evaluation of uncertain or nondeterministic behavior.
- Experience with cloud solutions, enterprise-system integrations, APIs, Graph, SQL, SharePoint, and dedicated business systems.
- Experience working within enterprise guardrails covering AI risk assessment, information security, data loss prevention, environments, and licensing.
- Strong problem-solving, independent working, teamwork, communication, and senior stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred experience includes Copilot Studio or another agent orchestration platform, mentoring developers, technical oversight, frontend or user-experience exposure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
