Responsibilities
- Build and maintain customer-facing features across the full stack using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
- Design, develop, and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Develop efficient data models and queries using MySQL and DynamoDB.
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
- Improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and web accessibility with cross-functional teams.
- Advance engineering best practices and contribute to technical discussions.
- Investigate and resolve production issues when needed.
Requirements
- Experience developing applications in Java and building services with Spring Boot or similar backend frameworks.
- Experience building modern web applications with React and strong knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and backend design principles; GraphQL exposure is a plus.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL; familiarity with NoSQL databases is beneficial.
- Commitment to high-quality, maintainable code and continuous improvements to performance and user experience.
- Ability to own features from design through deployment.
- Experience with automated deployment practices and collaborative development workflows.
- Proactive communication and effective collaboration in a team environment.
