Responsibilities
- Own the system build, application functionality, performance, and scalability.
- Integrate applications with required systems, services, and legacy systems.
- Design and implement clean APIs and data streams for frontend applications.
- Write and use service-oriented RESTful API services and work with databases.
- Contribute to a collaborative, growth-focused, diverse, and values-driven company culture.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with particular expertise in TypeScript.
- Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming and software development principles.
- Significant experience building and using service-oriented RESTful APIs and tuning large-scale applications.
- Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, including SQL, MongoDB, Couchbase, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
- Experience building microservice architectures.
- Ability to write effective unit, integration, and API tests.
- Potential knowledge of immutable infrastructure and infrastructure automation and provisioning tools.
- Experience with Azure or AWS, Bash or Shell scripting, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Experience with loan management systems and core banking systems is a plus.
