Responsibilities
- Design and develop elegant, intuitive front-end applications for desktop, laptop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Design extensible and scalable multi-threaded solutions while optimizing resource utilization, performance, and supportability.
- Help define PHP and JavaScript frameworks for new features and refactoring legacy elements.
- Work with a small engineering team in a focused, low-bureaucracy environment.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of UI/UX development experience.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON.
- Strong UX and design sensibilities.
- Experience developing and maintaining complex web architectures using object-oriented PHP and JavaScript.
- Proficiency with code versioning tools such as Bitbucket.
- Experience integrating with REST APIs.
- Proficiency in software design approaches and common UX patterns.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience configuring Apache, Node.js, and Nginx servers is a plus.
- Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel and CodeIgniter is a plus.
- Strong database knowledge, including MySQL and MariaDB, is a plus.
- Experience with AWS Framework is a plus.
