Responsibilities
- Partner with Growth and Account teams to qualify opportunities and develop technical strategies.
- Engage government customers, industry primes, and system integrators to understand mission needs, architectures, and constraints.
- Translate customer challenges into solution architectures using Tangram Flex software, solutions, and services.
- Lead technical discussions, whiteboarding sessions, solution workshops, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept efforts.
- Support proposals, RFIs, RFPs, and capture activities through technical solutioning, narrative writing, and architecture diagrams.
- Contribute to win strategies aligned with customer priorities such as MOSA, interoperability, and speed to field.
- Advise customers and internal stakeholders on software architecture, integration, and modular system design.
- Provide customer and market feedback to Product and Engineering teams and help define reusable reference architectures and solution patterns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 8–10 years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or solutions architecture.
- Experience with C, C++, Java, Python, and Rust in an embedded environment.
- Experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or other customer-facing technical roles.
- Deep familiarity with DoD systems, acquisition processes, and mission environments.
- Strong understanding of software architecture concepts and the ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience supporting proposals, RFIs/RFPs, or capture efforts.
- Current or recent U.S. government security clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to travel approximately 25%; preferred experience includes system integration and interoperability challenges.
