Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, unit testing, validation, and support of Blue Yonder/RedPrairie WMS modifications.
- Own solution architecture and business process workflow definition for transformational customer implementation projects.
- Design functional specifications, interfaces, reports, screens, product requirement specifications, and modification test plans.
- Assess customer business needs, integration complexity, architecture constraints, and solutions outside standard product functionality.
- Lead integration discussions across WMS, ERP/host, TMS, WLM, transportation, parcel, voice, material-handling, ASRS, and third-party systems.
- Support test script development and execution, quality delivery, demonstrations, system validation, and data integrity verification.
- Provide level-three technical and user support during go-live and guide Support Services in resolving technical issues.
- Act as a technical liaison among project managers, customer contacts, users, development services, partners, and executive sponsors.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, advise customers on best practices, and contribute to change-management activities.
- Create and maintain procedural, system, practice-aid, database, and best-practice documentation.
- Assist project managers with planning and support compliance with project, time, travel, and expense procedures.
- Travel according to business needs and contribute to the growth of the technical consulting practice.
Requirements
- 12–16 years of corporate experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant discipline.
- Expertise in technical WMS configuration, solution integration, quality assurance, system testing, PL/SQL, SQL Server, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder/RedPrairie WMS configuration, Jasper Reports, NiceLabel, PageBuilder, and MOCA.
- Knowledge of WMS integrations with ERP/host, TMS, WLM, transportation and tracking systems, parcel systems, and third-party applications.
- Knowledge of integrations with voice, material-handling, and ASRS systems.
- Knowledge of Azure fundamentals, database structures, technical platforms, infrastructures, operating systems, client/server technology, ERP systems, integration, and middleware technologies.
- Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance and work independently.
- Strong customer relationship, communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of the assigned product line's technical requirements and the Blue Yonder product suite's relationships and touchpoints.
- Availability and skill-set requirements must align with organizational needs; travel readiness is required.
