Base Salary
$160k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Measure and optimize the performance, scalability, and uptime of backend services.
- Promote a culture of engineering excellence.
- Conduct design and code reviews to uphold engineering standards.
- Collaborate with product management and customer support to enhance user experience.
- Focus on consistent REST APIs and domain-driven service design.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in building scalable software.
- Strong computer science fundamentals with knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Proficient in Java and Java-based microservices with Spring Boot.
- Experience designing customer-facing RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Knowledge of unit and integration testing tools like JUnit or Mockito.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD processes is a plus.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
