Base Salary
$160k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop core components on an engineering pod.
- Measure and optimize the performance, scalability, and uptime of backend services.
- Promote engineering excellence and uphold rigorous engineering standards.
- Conduct design and code reviews.
- Collaborate with product management, customer success, and customer support.
- Design cohesive REST APIs and domain-driven services to facilitate and orchestrate service contracts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building clean, well-architected, distributed, and scalable software.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and deep knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Strong command of Java-based microservices with Spring Boot.
- Experience designing and supporting customer-facing RESTful APIs.
- Experience designing and implementing relational database schemas using PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or an equivalent database.
- Familiarity with unit and integration testing concepts and tools including JUnit and Mockito, or equivalents.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; git-flow and SonarQube for CI/CD are a plus.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or an equivalent program.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship or transfer.
