Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test cases, test plans, and test strategy documents.
- Perform manual and functional testing, including end-to-end, regression, smoke, and web services testing.
- Develop and implement quality control systems and identify areas for product improvement.
- Create defect reports, track issues through resolution, and report test results to management.
- Drive testing automation initiatives using scripting, frameworks, and tools.
- Review requirements, identify gaps and testing impediments, and forecast high-risk software areas.
- Collaborate with development, business, and other cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
- Establish collaborative relationships and help manage conflicts, productivity, and talent development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
- 4 to 6 years of software testing experience.
- Strong background in manual and functional QA testing.
- Expertise in scripting languages, logical implementations, automation, frameworks, and testing tools.
- Knowledge of SQL and Oracle queries.
- Experience preparing test plans and strategy documents, writing test cases, gathering requirements, and testing web services.
- Understanding of formal software test design techniques and QA processes and standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Security and performance testing exposure is preferred.
- People management experience, including conflict management, productivity improvement, hiring, and talent development, is preferred.
