Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, reliable, and observable data pipelines across batch and streaming architectures.
- Develop data models and integrations for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand data requirements and align technical solutions with business needs.
- Write unit tests, validate data against acceptance criteria, and apply coding, documentation, and testing standards.
- Conduct impact analysis, participate in code reviews, and document designs, code, and projects.
- Troubleshoot production issues and propose effective solutions.
- Operate autonomously on large-scale, complex data projects while anticipating performance, edge-case, and data-quality risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum two years of data engineering experience.
- Proficiency in programming with Python, SQL, and PySpark, along with data modeling and SQL/NoSQL database management.
- Experience designing scalable batch and/or streaming data pipelines.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and familiarity with data governance, lineage, and quality frameworks.
- Fluency with AI tools and ADLC and working knowledge of Databricks and Apache Spark.
- Preferred hands-on experience with AWS data services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, and MSK.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code quality enforcement, production environment management, Airflow, dbt, Dagster, and Databricks.
- Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving, innovation, and business-oriented decision-making skills.
