Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and support enterprise business applications using Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI.
- Build Canvas and model-driven Power Apps using Power Fx, component libraries, and PCF controls.
- Create Power Automate cloud and desktop flows with approvals, error handling, monitoring, and RPA capabilities.
- Design Dataverse data models, relationships, business rules, security roles, plug-ins, custom APIs, and connectors.
- Develop Power BI data models, DAX measures, reports, dashboards, dataflows, refresh processes, and embedded analytics.
- Administer Power BI, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint Online environments, including workspaces, apps, gateways, pipelines, and tenant settings.
- Implement platform governance, DLP policies, managed environments, CoE Starter Kit practices, ALM, source control, and deployment processes.
- Integrate solutions with SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, SQL Server, Azure services, REST APIs, and legacy automation platforms.
- Perform discovery, write solution scopes and levels of effort, and translate customer business, functional, and technical requirements into solutions.
- Engage customers directly, build strategic relationships, present technical concepts, and troubleshoot complex application, flow, and query performance issues.
- Migrate legacy Nintex, InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, and Microsoft Access automations to Power Platform.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience consulting or working in the enterprise customer arena.
- 6–10 years of experience designing, developing, and supporting business applications on the Microsoft stack.
- At least 5 years of hands-on Microsoft Power Platform experience and 2–3 years of Power BI development and Microsoft 365/SharePoint Online administration experience.
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree and 4–6 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extensive experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, connectors, Power Platform governance, ALM, and Power BI development.
- Strong Power BI skills including Power Query, star-schema modeling, DAX, calculation groups, performance tuning, security, deployment, refresh, and report design.
- Extensive PowerShell scripting experience, including Power Platform administration and Power BI management modules; working knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and C# for extensions.
- Experience designing SharePoint Online lists and libraries as application data sources and document repositories.
- Strong customer engagement, written, oral, presentation, troubleshooting, and business-to-technical communication skills.
- Microsoft PL-400 and/or PL-300 certification is highly desired.
- Hands-on experience migrating legacy automations such as Nintex, InfoPath, SharePoint Designer workflows, and Microsoft Access to Power Platform.
