Base Salary
$185k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Transform the Registry into a powerful platform for application management.
- Drive innovation across backend services and customer-facing applications.
- Take technical ownership of core systems like schema and service lifecycle.
- Lead high-impact initiatives involving multiple teams and partners.
- Design APIs, data models, and workflows for internal and customer use.
- Participate in on-call duties and incident response for reliability.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural decision-making.
Requirements
- Proven experience with distributed, multi-tenant backend systems in production.
- Strong understanding of consistency models and resiliency patterns.
- Experience building platforms and control planes with APIs and workflows.
- Proficiency in modern backend languages like TypeScript, Go, or Java.
- Solid experience with relational and NoSQL datastores and data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with production services and incident response.
- Strong grasp of observability practices and performance tuning.
- Ability to design complex features across multiple services.
- Comfortable with CI/CD and collaborating with frontend engineers.
- Strong communication skills for async collaboration and design reviews.
