Responsibilities
- Design and deliver enterprise architecture solutions for major, complex IT programs in alignment with enterprise blueprints and standards.
- Build technology roadmaps and provide evidence-based recommendations for business direction and investment decisions.
- Translate complex business problems into solutions spanning hardware, software, systems integration, and distributed architectures.
- Architect and integrate AI, ML, generative AI, and intelligent automation into enterprise workflows and consumer banking journeys.
- Design, optimize, and standardize Pega workflow and case-management solutions, including integration with core banking systems.
- Lead systems-design initiatives and own both individual components and overall solution architecture as required.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies and platforms that improve existing systems and support strategic IT goals.
- Mentor junior architects and engineers and raise technical capability across the team.
- Assess architectural and technology risks and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience in solutions architecture, system design, software engineering, or enterprise IT architecture.
- Hands-on expertise designing end-to-end distributed systems across diverse hardware, software, and networking topologies.
- Working knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman and experience with architectural governance artifacts and models.
- Experience applying agentic AI, autonomous AI agents, LLMs, and RAG to complex business applications.
- Experience architecting and deploying scalable, secure, resilient cloud-native solutions on AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency in one or more of Java, Python, TypeScript, Go, or C++ with experience developing high-throughput enterprise systems.
- Experience with event-driven and message-oriented integration architectures using Apache Kafka, TIBCO, MuleSoft, or RabbitMQ.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift, including deployment, scaling, and fault tolerance.
- Experience with CI/CD automation using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
- Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or vector databases, including schema design and performance optimization.
- Experience implementing observability, telemetry, and distributed tracing with Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK Stack.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and technical problem-solving skills across complex IT ecosystems.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant technology or engineering field.
- A master's degree, TOGAF certification, Pega certifications, or relevant cloud or AI architecture certifications is beneficial or advantageous.

- Base salary range is $125,760.00 to $188,640.00.
- Offerings may vary by jurisdiction, job level, and date of hire; discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards may also be available.
