Responsibilities
- Define and drive front-end architecture strategy for Salesforce Commerce Cloud initiatives.
- Lead and mentor front-end engineering teams and promote SFRA, modular design, and coding best practices.
- Architect and implement reusable, modular front-end components using SFRA.
- Customize and extend SFCC templates with ISML, JavaScript, jQuery, SCSS, Page Designer, and related technologies.
- Build responsive, mobile-first interfaces using Bootstrap or equivalent frameworks.
- Ensure accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, code quality, and maintainability.
- Lead front-end performance optimization using code splitting, lazy loading, and critical CSS management.
- Collaborate with product management, UX/UI design, backend engineering, and quality assurance teams.
- Oversee code reviews and document front-end architecture, processes, and standards.
- Troubleshoot complex Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration issues.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of front-end development experience, including at least 3 years dedicated to Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Storefront Reference Architecture.
- Expert proficiency in HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and JavaScript ES6+, with knowledge of modular and component-based development.
- Experience with React or similar modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Extensive experience with ISML templating, SFRA, Page Designer, and JavaScript controllers.
- Experience developing scalable, responsive, and mobile-first web interfaces using Bootstrap or comparable frameworks.
- Strong expertise in front-end performance optimization, including code splitting, lazy loading, and critical CSS management.
- Proficiency with Git, Webpack, NPM, and third-party integration tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing technical teams.
- Salesforce certifications or equivalent credentials are preferred.
- Experience with headless commerce architecture, Progressive Web Apps, or related modern front-end architectures is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes is preferred.
- BE, BTECH, or MCA qualification.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and troubleshoot Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations.
