Base Salary
$218k - $273k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the global technical alliance plans for Snowflake and Databricks and drive them through partner and field organizations.
- Define the joint technical narrative, capability messaging, reference architectures, integration patterns, and value story for the combined Fivetran and dbt Labs platform.
- Create reusable collateral, playbooks, and enablement assets for partner solutions architects and partner teams.
- Track integration states, gaps, and opportunities across ingestion, transformation, Fusion, semantic layers, catalogs, metadata, open table formats, and agent and MCP interfaces.
- Serve as the primary technical counterpart to Snowflake and Databricks partner engineering and product teams and lead recurring technical cadences.
- Own technical presence at Snowflake Summit and Databricks Data + AI Summit, including hands-on labs, sessions, demos, and team readiness.
- Coordinate with regional Partner Solutions Architects and Partnerships teams to turn global alliance strategy into regional execution.
- Travel approximately 30% for alliance planning, technical workshops, executive meetings, and partner events, including international travel.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in solutions architecture, sales engineering, partner engineering, technical product management, developer relations, or another customer-facing technical role in data and analytics.
- Fluency across the modern data stack, including ingestion, transformation, orchestration, warehouses and lakehouses, open table formats, semantic layers, catalogs, BI, and agent and MCP layers.
- Hands-on knowledge of Snowflake and/or Databricks, strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals, and technical credibility with partner engineers.
- Sound product and strategic judgment, strong presentation and facilitation skills, and the ability to drive outcomes in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with multiple stakeholders.
- Preferred qualifications include experience owning technical alliances, shaping partner products and integrations, working with partner-facing APIs, SDKs, drivers, or integration certification programs, product management or technical product marketing experience, and familiarity with cloud marketplace and co-sell programs.
