Responsibilities
- Independently understand and extract data from legacy systems and overcome their data extraction limitations.
- Develop stable, extensible, unit-tested code and implement new requirements according to architectural principles.
- Build and maintain software solutions, REST APIs, tooling, and AWS-based applications.
- Diagnose complex issues and implement effective resolutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, project managers, client teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support solution architecture and product architecture planning in a multi-system environment.
- Manage application requirements and help ensure solution quality.
- Operate within continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience with Node.js in AWS environments.
- Expertise developing REST APIs and documentation tooling.
- Experience working in continuous integration and delivery environments.
- Knowledge of SQL databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with AWS Lambda and cloud development.
- Proficiency with modern development tools such as Git and Docker.
- Ability to analyze and extract data from legacy systems independently.
- Experience working on Agile teams and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively or independently and learn new technologies.
- Previous consulting experience is preferred.
