Base Salary
$220k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and reliability of Together's real-time API layer.
- Lead autoscaling architecture for latency-sensitive voice workloads.
- Define the voice API feature surface for developer use cases.
- Build the observability platform for voice infrastructure.
- Own the multi-provider abstraction layer for consistent API behavior.
- Drive the interface between API and ML serving.
- Raise the bar for developer experience across the platform.
- Architect for future product surfaces in voice technology.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building large-scale, real-time distributed systems.
- Deep expertise in real-time streaming infrastructure.
- Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and Python; Rust experience is a plus.
- Strong judgment in distributed systems, including load balancing and autoscaling.
- Deep Kubernetes expertise for stateful, streaming services.
- Strong technical leadership and ability to influence teams.
- Product intuition for developer platforms and API ergonomics.
- Proven ability to operate autonomously on high-stakes problems.
- Experience with audio and media protocols is preferred.
- Familiarity with ML model serving infrastructure is advantageous.
- Full-stack experience for developer-facing tooling is a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field.
