Base Salary
$68k - $110k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable backend applications and analytics solutions using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and lead technical discussions with product managers, technical leads, developers, and other stakeholders.
- Develop application features, unit tests, and code meeting established coding and code-coverage standards.
- Support application testing, CI/CD deployment, production releases, monitoring, and troubleshooting across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Create and maintain technical designs, service specifications, functional documentation, and technical documentation standards.
- Provide guidance to developers on functional and technical documentation.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience with advanced proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Data JPA.
- Hands-on experience developing and supporting scalable backend applications in a cloud environment.
- Strong experience with Apache Kafka or another enterprise messaging or queueing technology.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and modern application deployment practices.
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure; experience designing large-scale, high-volume, or distributed applications; knowledge of cloud-based analytics architectures; application monitoring and observability experience; and the ability to guide developers and contribute to technical design and documentation standards.
