Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of complex applications using .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and .NET 6+/Core.
- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Functions, AKS, Service Bus, SQL, Storage, and Key Vault.
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, architectural guidance, and technical ownership of initiatives.
- Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Maintain standards for code quality, security, performance, reliability, and observability.
- Lead troubleshooting of complex production issues and drive root-cause analysis and remediation.
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers and contribute to hiring and onboarding.
- Continuously improve engineering practices, tooling, and delivery processes.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional .NET development experience, including C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core/.NET.
- Proven experience designing and delivering cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps repositories, pipelines, releases, and work-item integration.
- Experience with distributed systems, RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, relational databases, Azure SQL, SQL Server, Entity Framework, and Dapper.
- Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, SOLID, clean architecture, automated testing, and CI/CD.
- Experience leading technical initiatives or serving as a technical owner or lead on projects.
- Experience working in Agile or Kanban environments.
- Preferred experience includes Docker, AKS/Kubernetes, Bicep, ARM templates, Terraform, Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hubs, Application Insights, Azure Monitor, cloud security, identity, secrets management, least privilege, and Azure certifications such as AZ-204 or AZ-305.
- Experience with React or Angular is preferred.
