Base Salary
$117k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full-stack features across React web, React Native iOS and Android apps, and Python/Django backend services.
- Design and implement well-documented and tested APIs that support intermittent connectivity and real-world field conditions.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define requirements and technical plans.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and contribute to architecture and design decisions.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in on-call rotations and take ownership of production issues.
- Improve development workflows, tooling, documentation, quality, and team processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python for backend services and APIs, with experience using Django or a similar Python web framework.
- Experience building web applications with React and mobile applications with React Native for iOS and Android.
- Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and with designing and consuming APIs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
- Clear communication, constructive feedback skills, and a focus on software quality.
- Preferred: experience with offline-first or connectivity-resilient mobile applications, Django REST Framework, AWS, feature flagging, incremental rollouts, AI agents for development workflows, construction or field operations software, and mentoring or technical project leadership.
