Base Salary
$205k - $267k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship production software that accelerates drug development.
- Utilize AI tools as a core part of the development process.
- Understand clinical, regulatory, or operational problems to make informed product decisions.
- Create clean APIs and structured schemas for discoverability and extensibility.
- Review contributions from non-engineers to ensure quality and maintainability.
- Develop automated tools to enhance technical quality across the organization.
- Rapidly prototype ideas for quick feedback and iteration.
- Collaborate fluidly across engineering, data science, product, and domain teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience in shipping production systems in fast-moving environments.
- Daily use of AI tools and familiarity with current best practices.
- Strong coding fundamentals and understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Interest in understanding the problem space rather than just the technology stack.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and experience in early-stage environments.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in pharma, biotech, or life sciences is preferred.
- Desire to operate at a high standard and tempo.
