Responsibilities

  • Own architecture and technical design for new initiatives and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain Angular-based web applications and Java backend services.
  • Create proofs of concept and participate in advanced programming and complex system design.
  • Lead and mentor engineering teams and provide technical guidance across frontend and backend work.
  • Review designs and code, enforce engineering quality and best practices, and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Support production issue analysis and end-to-end delivery from planning through implementation.
  • Estimate features and epics, support pre-grooming, and help ensure project execution within budget.
  • Manage or support relationships with vendors, contractors, architects, product teams, and external teams.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer using Java and Angular.
  • 1+ year of experience managing teams and leading team members.
  • Frontend experience with Angular and TypeScript.
  • Backend experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with microservices architecture, software design patterns, and RESTful API development.
  • Experience working with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Understanding of the Node.js backend JavaScript framework.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
