Base Salary
$63k - $100k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable, secure, high-performance enterprise applications using Java and Python.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend components for business-critical applications.
- Collaborate with architects, product teams, business stakeholders, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and resolve complex application issues while maintaining system reliability and performance.
- Contribute to application architecture, solution design, code reviews, testing, cloud-native development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of overall IT experience in software development and enterprise application delivery.
- Proven experience in the Capital Markets and Banking industry.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Python.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and modern application development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, event-driven architectures, distributed systems, regulatory or trading platforms, and performance tuning.
