Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Participate in system design and architecture decisions for complex features and subsystems.
- Design and implement fundraising, compliance, and election-readiness features.
- Develop and maintain third-party integrations.
- Write high-quality, secure, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Mentor peers through code reviews, design collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
- Use AI coding tools, write specifications for AI-assisted development, and evaluate generated code.
- Collaborate with product management and cross-functional engineering teams.
Requirements
- Typically five years of software engineering experience or a strong software engineering foundation.
- Strong understanding of web scalability challenges and solutions.
- Ability and willingness to use AI coding tools in the development workflow.
- Ability to work independently on complex, ambiguous problems and propose solutions.
- Experience mentoring peers and participating in architecture discussions.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: seven or more years of software development experience or equivalent skills.
- Preferred: strong JavaScript and ReactJS skills; proficiency in C# and ASP.NET.
- Preferred: SQL Server experience, especially performance tuning or query optimization.
- Preferred: experience with political software, campaign technology, or election readiness.
- Preferred: hands-on Azure, Redis, Elasticsearch, and AWS experience.
- Preferred: experience building or integrating AI/LLM-powered product features and third-party APIs.
