Responsibilities
- Embed security automation into infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Design and implement secure infrastructure patterns and services orchestration in AWS.
- Secure build, release, deployment, and runtime practices through CI/CD gates.
- Automate vulnerability operations and secure dependency management.
- Build observability and monitoring capabilities for agentic systems using OpenTelemetry.
- Contribute to incident response efforts and help engineering teams adopt secure components and patterns.
- Standardize and mature security solutions across complex cloud application environments.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in software engineering or platform engineering and security engineering.
- Experience implementing end-to-end orchestration and secure patterns in AWS.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD gates across build, release, and run phases.
- Exposure to secure dependency management practices and runtime vulnerability remediation.
- Hands-on practical use of AI for security and interest in novel threats and agentic systems.
- Ability to influence and enable technical teams through collaboration and secure engineering practices.
- Successful candidates must complete a National Police Record check and have full-time Australian working rights.
