Responsibilities
- Develop self-service infrastructure and internal developer experience platforms for engineering teams.
- Work across build systems, test frameworks, cloud providers, CI/CD, and developer tooling to support engineering scale.
- Design, build, and optimize workflows for building, testing, and deploying a large monorepo.
- Maintain and improve Bazel monorepo infrastructure, including remote execution and IDE integration.
- Roll out build-related best practices and tools across product engineering services.
- Resolve complex build and runtime errors and participate in solution design meetings, code reviews, and hiring interviews.
- Guide and mentor team members and improve collaboration, learning, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or GoLang.
- Experience maintaining and improving large monorepo build infrastructure.
- Passion for developer tools and build systems with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to investigate and resolve complex build or runtime errors.
- Ability to guide and mentor team members.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in technical and non-technical contexts.
- Bazel experience is preferred.
