Responsibilities
- Lead DevOps culture implementation and promote collaboration between development and operations teams.
- Partner with application developers to adopt infrastructure automation and infrastructure as code practices.
- Design and implement Terraform-based infrastructure as code solutions across AWS and Azure.
- Architect and optimize pipelines and repository management using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, GitHub, and Harness.
- Implement and maintain configuration management solutions.
- Lead Kubernetes container orchestration implementations for application deployment and scaling.
- Implement and maintain HashiCorp Vault solutions for secrets management.
- Create technical documentation and establish knowledge-sharing practices across teams.
- Mentor developers and lead configuration management initiatives.
Requirements
- Extensive experience implementing infrastructure as code and configuration management solutions.
- Proven experience helping application developers adopt infrastructure automation practices.
- Advanced proficiency with DevOps pipelines, repositories, artifact management, configuration management, and engineering.
- Expert-level Terraform experience across AWS and/or Azure.
- Advanced Bash scripting capabilities for automation.
- Extensive Kubernetes experience and strong Docker containerization experience.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Australian citizenship and continuous residency of at least three to five years.
- An active security clearance is preferred.
- HashiCorp Vault, OpenShift, and AI SDLC or AI agent setup experience are advantageous.
