Responsibilities
- Build full-stack features using TypeScript, Express, React, and PostgreSQL.
- Own feature areas from conception through production deployment.
- Make architectural, API design, and database design decisions for scalable production systems.
- Translate user feedback from veterinary practices into product features.
- Integrate with practice management systems and third-party services.
- Balance product thinking with hands-on engineering execution.
Requirements
- 2–6 years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping web applications.
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript, Express, React, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience making architectural decisions for production systems, including API and database design.
- Product-first mindset with attention to user needs.
- Comfort with ownership, ambiguity, and fast-moving startup environments.
- Background in B2B SaaS or vertical software; healthtech or clinical software experience is a plus.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated competency through shipped work.
- Comfort using AI tools to improve development workflow and productivity.
Benefits
- Salary range of €65,000–€85,000 per year.
- Berlin-based on-site or hybrid work arrangement.
