Responsibilities
- Architect, design, develop, and maintain scalable and performant Java applications using Spring Boot.
- Own critical components and features of the Issuer platform.
- Lead technical discussions and contribute to the platform’s technical strategy and roadmap.
- Mentor junior developers and support their professional growth.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Promote code reviews, testing methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify technical challenges, propose solutions, mitigate risks, and improve development processes and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong professional software development background focused on Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Angular or other modern front-end frameworks.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Extensive experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
- Ability to design and implement complex systems with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience mentoring junior developers.
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices is preferred.
- Financial services industry experience is preferred.
