Responsibilities
- Design and develop Python backend services, scalable APIs, and microservices for AI-driven applications.
- Integrate LLMs, ML models, AI services, RAG pipelines, and AI orchestration workflows into production systems.
- Optimize AI inference performance, latency, reliability, scalability, monitoring, and fault tolerance.
- Deploy and manage AI backend services on GCP, including configuring cloud environments, IAM policies, security practices, and environment isolation.
- Develop data pipelines and integrate backend systems with third-party APIs, enterprise applications, SQL databases, and NoSQL databases.
- Containerize applications and implement deployment and CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools.
- Monitor application health and performance, conduct code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to architecture and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, frontend developers, DevOps teams, and other cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5.5 to 9 years of backend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience building scalable backend systems and APIs.
- Hands-on experience with GCP cloud services, REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with SQL-based databases, data validation, transformation, preprocessing, containerization, and cloud-native deployment.
- Strong backend system design, analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and ownership skills.
- Preferred: experience with LangChain, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Vertex AI, GCP AI services, LLM-based applications, RAG, agents, embeddings, message queues, MLOps, or high-scale enterprise AI systems.
- Preferred: GCP Professional Cloud Developer, Professional Data Engineer, or Professional ML Engineer certification.
