Responsibilities
- Build and deploy Python backend services for agentic AI applications using Django or FastAPI and Celery.
- Productionize LangChain and LangGraph agents and proof-of-concepts into tested, reliable backend applications.
- Deploy and operate containerized applications on OpenShift Container Platform and Kubernetes through CI/CD pipelines.
- Build RESTful APIs with authentication, authorization, rate limiting, input validation, and regulated-environment security controls.
- Integrate RAG pipelines, MCP, A2A, multi-agent systems, and LLM-powered workflows.
- Optimize application performance, LLM token costs, caching, latency, agent orchestration, and production observability.
- Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, mentor engineers, and contribute to secure coding and AI safety guardrails.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience and strong Python proficiency.
- At least 2 years building backend services with Django, FastAPI, or a comparable framework.
- Hands-on experience with Celery or similar asynchronous task-processing systems.
- Strong knowledge of API security, including OAuth2, JWT, rate limiting, input validation, and secure API design.
- Experience deploying and operating containerized applications on Kubernetes or OpenShift and using CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Familiarity with RAG, agents, agent orchestration, MCP, A2A, and multi-agent systems.
- Preferred experience with LangChain, LangGraph, OpenTelemetry, Langfuse, LangSmith, and agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, or Devin.
- Nice-to-have experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, vector databases, Vue.js or React, LLM providers, prompt and context engineering, LLM cost optimization, Grafana, Prometheus, SAST, and DAST.
