Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver secure, high-quality software solutions and production code.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications, including Java and Spring Boot services, reactive APIs, and web applications.
- Apply software development lifecycle tools, automation, testing, and enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development capabilities.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets and create visualizations and reporting to improve applications, coding hygiene, and system architecture.
- Collaborate with business, operations, and technology stakeholders on product vision, technology roadmaps, and business outcomes.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile-related engineering practices.
- Preferred experience with Java, Spring Boot, reactive APIs, JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular, SQL and NoSQL databases, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, performance engineering, and AI/ML.
