Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate scalable cloud-native platform services and distributed systems using Go/Golang, GCP, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Build platform automation, self-service workflows, APIs, and developer-platform capabilities to improve software delivery and developer productivity.
- Design and implement observability, telemetry, monitoring, logging, tracing, and reliability solutions for platform health and performance.
- Drive adoption of cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes patterns, GitOps practices, and software engineering best practices.
- Mentor engineers through technical leadership, code reviews, design reviews, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience and proficiency in a modern programming language.
- Professional experience with Golang is preferred.
- Proven experience designing and operating distributed systems at scale.
- Strong hands-on experience with public cloud, preferably GCP.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, and observability.
- A strong engineering mindset focused on quality, automation, and operational excellence.
- Ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and workflows while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
