Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain MongoDB Atlas and non-Atlas environments.
- Design and enforce resiliency and disaster recovery strategies.
- Optimize database performance and query execution.
- Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code solutions.
- Implement and refine observability and monitoring solutions.
- Manage access control, auditing, and encryption.
- Collaborate with application, DevOps, and platform teams.
- Lead incident response for database-related issues.
- Mentor and guide technical teams.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a MongoDB DBA, including 4+ years administering MongoDB Atlas.
- Strong experience with the AWS ecosystem.
- Proficiency in Terraform, GitOps, CI/CD automation, and containerized workloads.
- Experience with observability platforms like Dynatrace or Prometheus.
- Strong Linux administration expertise and scripting skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
- Travel requirement: <10%.
