Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage UDS environments across AWS EKS, Azure AKS, and on-premises environments.
- Build and maintain custom UDS packages and application-specific modules.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code modules for provisioning and configuring customer environments.
- Provide on-call support for critical UDS issues in customer environments while meeting SLA commitments.
- Act as the primary technical customer interface for guidance, troubleshooting, and complex issue resolution.
- Develop and deliver remote and on-site technical training tailored to customer needs.
- Coordinate customer onboarding and support adoption of UDS deployments.
- Gather customer and community feedback and share actionable insights with internal teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve deployment efficiency, customer outcomes, and growth results.
- Analyze operational and usage data to identify trends and improve delivery processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or in a similar role focused on system architecture and development.
- Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm, and containerized applications.
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures, including networking, RBAC, and storage across cloud and on-premises clusters.
- Hands-on experience with Azure AKS, AWS EKS, or on-premises Kubernetes platforms such as RKE2, K3s, or OpenShift.
- Experience with Helm, GitOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu for infrastructure and cluster lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines running on GitLab or GitHub.
- Ability to provide customer-facing architecture guidance, production support, troubleshooting, and platform expertise.
- Strong analytical, communication, and independent-working skills.
- Willingness to travel for on-site training and support.
- DoD IAT Level II certification, such as Security+.
- An active Secret clearance is required to apply; a DoD Secret or higher clearance is also listed as preferred.
