Responsibilities
- Lead the design, build, and operation of API and full-stack solutions for travel booking.
- Architect scalable and resilient systems for booking flows and checkout journeys.
- Proactively identify and resolve engineering bottlenecks in the codebase or infrastructure.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product teams and external partners.
- Drive decision-making through high-quality documentation and asynchronous communication.
Requirements
- Deep experience in distributed system development, particularly in Scala.
- Strong product thinking with a focus on customer experience.
- Ability to master complex codebases and implement elegant abstractions.
- Prioritize modular systems that support multiple partners with minimal manual intervention.
- Balance long-term system health with the need for rapid delivery.
